N3292 - Module Two - 147 Hours

This semester long program consists of 147 classroom hours of training & will include 30 hours on human growth & development; 12 hours on relapse prevention; 30 hours on counseling skills; 9 hours on AIDS, communicable diseases & related counseling issues; 6 hours on vocational educational counseling; 30 hours on experiential workgroups; 30 hours on special population training including some of the following topics: suicide risk assessment and prevention; post-traumatic stress disorder; alcohol & the adolescent; women & alcoholism; multi-cultural issues; and counseling the forced or mandated client. Attendance & participation is required in all sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion.
