Volunteers needed for Hudson Valley Fiesta Latina

Attention all students! Do you enjoy community service or need some extra hours? The Hudson Valley Fiesta Latina is holding its annual event at Museum Village on Sept. 1. A 5K race for colon cancer starts the day, followed by a day of family fun including live music, face painting, and live demonstrations of 19th Century living.

The Hudson Valley Fiesta at Museum Village Committee is an organization devoted to recognition and preservation of Latino culture in America and produces the annual “Fiesta Latina,” a day of both national pride and celebration of Latino culture.

We need volunteers starting at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.

This is a great way to earn some community service hours for various programs and scholarships. Any amount of time is appreciated and of course, when you are done you may stay to enjoy the Fiesta.

Please contact Janine Sarbak, Coordinator of Diversity & Equity, at 341-4348 or email me at You may also stop by my office at Hudson 103C for more information.
