Colleagues: Hidden Talents 2016

Last year’s "Colleagues: Hidden Talents" art show was so successful that Cultural Affairs has called upon the college community to do it again this year. Many employees who exhibited last year are showing new works. And several employee-artists who were not participants in last year’s show, are, in fact, very pleased to be sharing their works by displaying them in "Colleagues: Hidden Talents 2016."

Paintings, photographs, collages, fabric art, stitchery, and jewelry will be on view Aug. 29 through Oc. 1 in Orange Hall Gallery Loft. A reception, which is free and open to the public, will take place Tuesday, Sept. 13 from Noon to 2 p.m.

The exhibit brings together staff and faculty of SUNY Orange from various departments across the college’s two campuses to uncover and spotlight their artistic sides.  It is exciting to view the creativity and artistry in the college community.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday. You may also view the show until 8:45 p.m. on Sept. 21, 27, and 28 and from 7 to 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 1. The gallery is closed for Labor Day on Sept. 5.
