September 11 Film Screening of "The 9/11 Firehouse" TODAY (Sept. 13) at 11 a.m.

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Bio-Tech Room 352 at 11 a.m., the Department of Criminal Justice will host a showing of the National Geographic documentary "The 9/11 Firehouse."

This film chronicles that fateful day and the members of FDNY's "Ten House," the firehouse located nearly at the base of the Twin Towers. Like scores of their fellow first responders, the 12 members of "Ten House" responded that day, but only seven would come home.

Nearly 2800 people died that day, including 343 firefighters and 60 police officers. And in the years since, countless others, including construction workers and other support personnel, have fallen ill from 9/11-related illnesses. Many of them have also died.

Come see this riveting film about the courage of all the first responders.

All students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend.
