Important - Sexual Violence Prevention Survey

In the first week of April, SUNY Orange students and employees will receive an email invitation to participate in the SUNY Sexual Violence Prevention (SVP) Survey.

As you may know, the SUNY Sexual Violence Prevention Survey, created by SUNY System Administration, is mandated by New York State law (Education Law 129-B) and is to be administered “no less than every other year.”  Please click on the link for more information on SUNY policies on sexual violence prevention and response.

The purpose of this survey is to help SUNY institutions, including SUNY Orange, collect information about incidents of sexual violence, frequency of reporting sexual violence, and knowledge of campus policies, procedures, and resources.

Participation in the survey is voluntary.  Your responses will be confidential and respondents will not be identified.

For more information about the survey, please review the Frequently Asked Questions document.  Please visit SUNY Orange’s webpage for more information on sexual assault and prevention; resources by campus are also found on SUNY’s site here.

Thank you in advance for your time and your honest feedback.

The point person for students is Vice President of Student Services, Gerianne Brusati,; faculty and staff are directed to contact Christine Work, Institutional Planning, Assessment, and Research, with any questions.
