NYFA Reception Tonight (Sept. 7)

SUNY Celebrating New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowships exhibit include paintings, drawings, lithographs, fresco-secco, paper art, wood-cuts, and three-dimensional works in repurposed and recycled materials.  The artists who created these interesting and intriguing works will be present at the reception in Orange Hall Gallery on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

During the reception a panel of some of the participating artists will discuss briefly the effects their NYFA visual arts fellowship grants had on their lives as artists. Exhibit curator, Polly Giragosian, will moderate, and information will be available on applying for NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships.

Also, classical guitarist, Joy Zelada, will play. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships are administered with leadership support from New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
