Kids Chemistry Night is Nov. 3

This year's Kids Chemistry Night will be held on Friday, Nov. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 212 of the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering.

Once again, the College's Science, Engineering and Architecture Department and the Mid-Hudson ACS are sponsoring an evening of fun and science.

This year's theme is "Treasures of the Earth." The evening begins with the traditional consuming of hot dogs, chips, brownies and assorted bad things to eat followed by some chemical demos that go hiss, sizzle, boom and finally, the kids get to go into the lab and do some experiments of their own.

The event is limited to 60 participants so make your reservations today by e-mailing Dr. MacMahon at

Event date, time and location.
