Fire Inspections June 7-8

College community: SUNY Orange received notice that Will Freer (NYS Fire Inspector) will be returning to the College's Middletown campus on Monday June 7 and Tuesday June 8 to conduct a re-inspection of our previously issued violations. 

Almost all of the infractions from previous inspections have been corrected. The one continuing and ongoing deficiency remains chocked doors. 

I would appreciate it if you could advise all employees in your area: "PLEASE DO NOT CHOCK OPEN ANY SELF CLOSING DOORS." This is a fire hazzard and each time the inspector finds a chocked door it results in an infraction for the College
