Student Grapevine hitting e-mail this fall
College community ... the Student Grapevine will be reaching students' e-mail in-boxes starting this fall. Until now, the Student Grapevine has only been posted online. With the onset of classes, it will be distributed to students via their @sunyorange.edu e-mail accounts twice per week (Tuesday and Thursday) just as the Campus Grapevine is distributed to faculty and staff.
Keep this in mind as you consider ways to communicate your events and announcements to students. And, as per the College's new e-mail policy, students will be expected to read the Grapevine and use it as their source of College information. Departments across campus will also be encouraged to support Grapevine posts with up-to-date information on their respective web sites.
Finally, the College's Facebook page has surpassed 1,300 fans ... so please consider that as yet another method of outreach to students (as well as alumni and supporters of the College).
